Row Like a Local - Tuscany

Come enjoy a week with us at our home club in San Miniato - you'll be part of the family! We'll pick you up in Pisa or Florence and from then on you'll be a member of our local rowing family. Each day you'll row with our youth or masters rowers, heading out with them, swapping helping hands on the dock and practicing your ciao and buongiorno. Post-row cappuccini, a trip to the grocery store - just like the folks who live here!

Twice during your stay we'll head off into the hills of Tuscany to explore Lucca, or Florence, or go for a hike, and on the other days, we can get you to the train station or suggest local walks or activities. We love to learn about your passions and hobbies (aside from rowing) and tailor our activities around you.
This is one of our most profoundly-loved weeks: rowers who have come in the past have remained close friends with us and our rowers, and have frequently returned. There is just something about "living" the place you are visiting that grows stronger roots.

This price includes accommodation in a one-room studio apartment with a queen bed (150x200cm) and a kitchenette. We'll provide rides to the club, rowing each day (weather and plane schedules permitting!), guidance and suggestions, as well as a couple of stops at the grocery store.

Please note: This trip has changed since Summer 2024 - since we now have our own B&B to accommodate you. If you'd like us to find rooms for you and add an extra day of fun adventures, the price will be quoted when we have a quote from the hotel or B&B. If you'd rather handle all accommodations yourself, we recommend also getting a rental car. In this case the trip price will be €1100.
